About the Xerox AltaLink C8100

A series of ledger-size color multifunction printers from 30 to 70 ppm (C8130–C8170) with ConnectKey workflow apps, for departments of most sizes. It prints at up to 30–70 ppm (pages per minute) in color and black and white, on paper up to 12" × 18" (SRA3). Functions: Print, Copy, Scan, optional Fax. The manufacturer rates its maximum monthly duty cycle at 90,000–300,000 pages (by model) — a ceiling, not a target, so choose a model whose everyday volume sits well below it.

Reading the specs: ppm means pages per minute; B&W means black and white. The maximum monthly duty cycle is the most pages a device is built to handle in a peak month — it is not a recommended workload. The recommended monthly print volume, where the manufacturer publishes one, is the better guide to everyday use.
